probably not gonna do this anymore but wanted to finish the ones i did last year so ik how many albums i did. this is a masterpiece. so perfect. the instrumentation is lush and beautiful but also super sparce and meaningful in its intention. lyrics are incredible, songwriting is weird and wonderful. just so so much character, ended up being my album of the year. love this so much

not too sure how i feel about this yet. feels a lot like a collection of singles instead of kendrick's usual incredible storytelling so idk. still lots of incredible tunes obviously, kendrick would struggle to make a bad album but i'm just not sure it's resonated with me yet. gotta relisten a few times at least
